GG-23
KEROSENE BRACKET SCONCE A cast iron Kerosene Bracket Sconce. There is a cast iron piece that screws onto the wall holding the swivel lamp holder. It is 11 inches H.(w/o the chimney), 12 inches from the wall. The opening for the lamp is 5 inches. It has the original glass kerosene lamp but it is cracked as pictured. I don't know if it holds the kerosene w/o leaking or not. The original brass burner is marked Eagle. Ca. 1870-80s. Original black surface with nice wear. Possibly made by Bradley & Hubbard but not marked. Bought from a local widow that bought it in the Buffalo NY. area about 40 years ago.
