BIRDS EYE MAPLE FRAME A wonderful small Birds Eye Maple frame with a gilt liner. Nice to have the veneer in tact on all the edges. Great color and patina. The hanging ring on the top is missing but has been wired on the back. These is a pencil sketch of a castle mounted. Original old wavy glass. Frame dates to 1870s. Frame is 7 inches W. x 7 1/2 inches H. Dado is 4 1/2 x 5. Nice frame for a mirror, silhouette or portrait.

EASTLAKE STYLE FRAME, Ca. 1875 What a Frame!! Eastlake style dating to 1875. It combines 3 complex moldings that makes it appear that it has 6. An outer wood grained molding with incised decoration. Two different layers of gilded molding. Two lacquered moldings and a wonderful smoke molding also with incised decoration in the corners. Total depth is 3 inches. Frame is 15 x 17 inches and rabbet sixe is 8 x 10 inches. Wonderful condition wityh no damage or loss. The print is marked on the rear indicating it is Three Friends and dates to the same period.

DEEP MAHOGANY CARVED SHADOWBOX FRAME This really is a Gorgeous frame. The detail of the carving, finish and wide gilt liner makes this frame standout. It measures 18 inches x 20 inches out, 10 inches x 12 inches inside, 2 1/2 inches deep, 1 1/4 inch wide liner. The Lincoln print is a reprint but is very nice. cA. 1870-80.
