A small Original Currier & Ives lithograph titled American Fruit Pieces. This is Conninghams #160. Still life of fruit including watermelon. The image is 12 7/16 x 8 1/2 inches. Nice wide margins with overall size of 14 x 10 3/8 inches. Very good condition with no tears and bright coloring. There is some discoloring due to the wood backing. There are pages of a 1939 issue of the New York Herald Tribune in the back. Nice walnut frame with gilt liner that measures 16 1/4 x 12 3/4 inches. Ca. 1872-1874. |
