A RARE Yellow ware food mold in the form a Fish. It is the view of the topside of the fish swimming as you would see it in the water. Wonderful dark Rockingham sponge decoration on the exterior. Probably PA. Ca. 1860-80. Near mint condition with minor rim roughness and an interior only 3/4 inch rim hairline. No other chips or hairlines. 6 1/2 x 9 inches, 4 inches H. Beautiful color and crazing. This mold is pictured in the yellow ware books.
