An unusual stoneware bowl. We can't identify this pattern or maker. It is marked with a 9 on the bottom. Probably Weller or McCoy. Ca. 1940. Measuring 9 1/2 inches D., 4 1/2 inches H. It has a wonderful warm yellow color, almost a pumpkin. It is not yellowware. It has been well used and has a crack on the side(pictured). This is a great shelf piece due to the color and the design. Buying as is and is priced accordingly.
