A hand carved dough bowl made of pine. Ca. 1870. I hope you can see the contrasting color. The ends are much darker than the middle due to grease/oil on the hands. Wonderful patina and hand cut finger holds on the ends. There are some age splits as pictured. It is 22 x 13 inches, 4 inches H. Fresh out of a Vincent, OH. collection. |
