A wonderful small Birds Eye Maple frame with a gilt liner. Nice to have the veneer in tact on all the edges. Great color and patina. The hanging ring on the top is missing but has been wired on the back. These is a pencil sketch of a castle mounted. Original old wavy glass. Frame dates to 1870s. Frame is 7 inches W. x 7 1/2 inches H. Dado is 4 1/2 x 5. Nice frame for a mirror, silhouette or portrait. |
