What a wonderful piece of early treen. A chip carved butter print of four(4) hearts. Wonderful worn patina. Ca. early 1800s. Excellent condition considering the age and use. There are a couple of chips on the side(pictured). Appears to be maple. It is 3 1/4 inches D., 4 inches H. Have you ever seen one with 4 individual hearts?? |
