A Leeds Ware Platter with a Blue Shell Edge. Commonly known as Feather Edge. Embossed design around the rim seems to be a fish scale design. Unmarked except for a 14 on the bottom. Ca. 1820. It is 15 1/2 x 12 inches. Mint condition with no chips or hairlines. There is light discoloration and wear. |
